Supplying our production facilities with raw and auxiliary materials is a challenge that we strive to overcome every day because keeping our promise to deliver is our absolute highest priority The founda tion of our success is our own two paper mills Carl Macher GmbH Co KG in Brunnenthal Germany and Papeteries du Rhin in the Alsace region of France In order to guarantee the supply of raw materials for our paper core plants Paul Co invested tens of millions in the production systems automation and logistics of our paper mills Now we produce nearly 300 000 tonnes of core board each year With this production volume the customers of the Kunert Group can count on us to deliver the goods We have put in a lot of effort over the past decades to make this possible What we take pride in Carl Macher is currently the most productive core board plant in Europe Each day 500 to 600 pallets of core board roll off the production line This equates to 3 500 to 4 000 tonnes of paper per seven day week Maximum performance is guaranteed by highly efficient fibre recovery technology and cutting edge production systems The high performance machine in Brunnenthal can produce core board in customary grammages with thicknesses between 0 19 and 1 0 millimetres and ply bond strengths between 250 and 500 joules The newly constructed warehouse there has an area of nearly 14 000 square meters 150 000 square feet meaning it can accommodate close to a full month s worth of product With its fully automated logistics control system it is the industry segment s most advanced warehouse in the world The Kunert Group s second paper mill Papeteries du Rhin in Illzach in the Alsace region of France has also been increasing its production volume L O O K i n s i d e
