The Geis Group headquartered in Bad Neustadt Germany is a strategic partner of the Kunert Group After signing our cooperation agreement in January 2021 Kunert and Geis got to work setting a new quality standard in logistics with a fully digitised supply chain enabling business processes to be optimised for maximum efficiency A fundamental component of our efforts to im plement our zero risk strategy in order transport and warehouse management is an IT interface between the Kunert Group and the Geis Group The result is complete digital documentation of every logistics process in the entire supply chain A project team at Geis deals exclusively with freight contracts from the Kunert Group receiving orders from any of our plants automatically via our ERP system This ensures a smooth workflow with vehicle dispatching optimal load planning and timely loading at the plant all automatically controlled to ensure that we fulfil our highest priority punctual deliveries to Kunert customers domestic and abroad So far the plants integrated into the project by installation of the necessary infrastructure include the paper core factories in Wildflecken Peiting Soest and Wedderstedt the corrugated cardboard plant Kunert Wellpappe in Bad Neustadt and our paper mills Carl Macher in Brunnenthal and Papeteries du Rhin in Illzach France The corrugated cardboard plant in Biebesheim will follow shortly The cooperation agreement means that the Kunert Group is well prepared for the challenges the coming years will bring in the area of logis tics It is a solid foundation for building a future of trust expertise and partnership between two internationally active family run companies Agreement signatories left to right Klaus Stäblein Jochen Geis Wolfgang Geis Manfred Kunert Mathias Kunert Andreas Kunert and Jürgen Schaller L O O K i n s i d e
